WELCOME!
The Virginia Assisted Living Association (VALA) is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to providing advocacy, communication, education, and resources for Virginia's assisted living industry. Formed in 1996, VALA is the unified voice of assisted living in Virginia and the official state affiliate of the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA). VALA's members represent the entire spectrum of the industry: providers of both non-profit and for-profit, and large and small assisted living homes. VALA also welcome Industry Partners - companies, government agencies and individuals that provide a service to, or have an interest in, assisted living in Virginia.

ALF ADMINISTRATOR TEMP DATABASE
ATTENTION: Licensed Assisted Living Administrators
VALA has received numerous calls and e-mails from assisted living facilities who are transitioning from one ALF administrator to another but need time to get the new administrator licensed. We are collecting resumes and contact information of qualified, licensed assisted living administrators who may be willing to help out transitioning ALFs by serving as the Administrator of Record during the transitional periods. Some relocations may be necessary.
If you are a licensed assisted living administrator and interested in being included in VALA's database of potential ALF administrators, then please send your resume and contact information to information@valainfo.org.
If you are a VALA member and seeking a licensed assisted living administrator either permanently or temporarily, please let VALA know.
ATTENTION SPEAKERS...
VALA invites you to submit a proposal to speak at one of VALA's upcoming events. Presentations are selected by a program review committee and are evaluated on the timeliness of the topic, overall interest by conference attendees, a well-defined description, and relevance to the assisted living industry. Submit a proposal by clicking HERE.
